Celebrating Volunteer Impact: Youth leadership and Advancing Sustainable Development Goals by Climate Action (HLPF 2026 Side Event).


The global challenge is no longer a lack of commitments, but the absence of measurable and verifiable implementation in the built environment. Youth and volunteer global contributions remain underutilized, despite their potential to scale implementation at the community level.

This side event aims to:
  • Present the Sufficiency First approach as a practical pathway for SDG implementation, governing and applications.
  • Demonstrate measurable application such as Conformity Assessment Scheme, (SDG 6,7,9,11 and 12.)
  • Position youth and volunteerism as core drivers of implementation
  • Strengthen partnerships across civil society, academia, and institutions (SDG 17)
